Apple 30-inch Cinema Display
Here is a Screen Shot taken on my brand new Apple 30-inch Cinema HD Display. What a great monitor it is. I thought it might have been overkill, but when I started working on this job, programming in Director, I realized I could almost use TWO of them.

The Cottage
I was lucky enough to be invited up to my friends cottage for the last "TRUE" summer weekend of the year. What a great place. It was pretty close to Minden I think...
This is from the main road. We went for a walk all around the peninsula. I love the lines the clouds draw. I remember we all actually stopped and just listened to the silence. Then we notice a woodpecker, who we would have never seen in the trees if we hadn't stopped. That's a pretty good lesson in life. (Lyle's hearing isn't very good, he could only hear it occasionally)

This is Jim. He's our hero. And more man than Lyle, Dawn, Cathryn and I put together! Look at his thumb. He almost cut it CLEAR off. And he's not letting THAT slow him down (although he DID almost faint when it happened) WHIMP!
Lyle's almost deaf (not really) but at least he still has his looks!

The Supers play The Ottawa Folk Festival
The Supers played at The Ottawa Folk Festival on Saturday August 9th @ 9pm. It was a GREAT show. We were lucky enought to have Lyle Molzan on the drums, and Ottawa local, Ian Lefeuvre on guitar! We had a good time working out HOW we were to play our new songs off of our up-and-coming release "Rearrange" currently available "in advance" at Maple Music! Check out our MySpace PAGE.

And don't forget, we will be playing our OFFICIAL CD Release @ The Rivoli on Friday September 1st, with special guests Valery Gore who MIGHT even join us on piano for a tune!

The Mercury Espresso Bar
This is where I get my coffee. They have the best coffee in the East end. In fact I think you'd have to go as far west as Roncesvalles to get even CLOSE (Cherry Bomb). Here we see Mike & Alice serving espresso with a smile and an attitude (a really great attitude!) MMMM....I think I'll go there now!!!
(and I'm mean that in the most eighties way, i hope you know)
